First, Jack now has two beautifully sharp teeth. You may be wondering how that is going with feeding? Or not..however, it is going well no scars as of now.

Secondly, my mom and DD (Daddy Donaldo) came into town this past weekend to have a early celebration of Don’s 52nd birthday. We went to see Mary Poppins and it was amazing. I haven’t read the actual book but, believe it had to be based on that more than the movie. I really enjoyed the play and the meal afterwards at Birraporettis! Delicious! I think we all needed this weekend after the scare my beautiful mother gave us on Tuesday with some heart issues. She is doing better but, the incident made us realize how precious life is and to not take it for granted. Which is easy for me to do at 26.

We were able to welcome Baby Robbie into the world on the 6th. He is absolutely precious and Elizabeth and Brad are acting like old pros with the second baby. Sister Kate is a doting sweet sister as well.

Right now we would like prayer or positive thoughts in the healing of Craig’s knees. Those of you that know Craig his name should be Sports and if this Sonar therapy doesn’t work he more than likely would not be able to play basketball or run again. I know I have mentioned it before but, if you have an extra second we would really appreciate it.

Also, we would like to ask for prayer in the selling of my Dad and MM’s house in Granbury. God has opened a ton of opportunities for them here in The Woodlands and we just are hoping and believing their house will sell so that they can officially plant themselves here.

Jack has amazed Craig and I both with his amazing personality. I absolutely cherish my time with him and feel so blessed to have him as my son. He has been such a joy and truly I can’t even begin to explain with words how he has captured our hearts.
After 6 weeks of physical therapy, Craig’s orthopedic told him that his knee was still in bad shape. Craig is now doing Sonar Therapy and has a 50/50 shot at it working. We are praying that God will heal his knee as if this doesn’t work he may not be able to run ever again.
All in all we are doing pretty well. I am very excited about the upcoming holidays. I consider myself pretty adjusted to being a stay at home mom. I love my time with Jack and wouldn’t change it for the world. I have also been able to cook and bake more which Craig is happy with. I also signed up for the Cowtown Half Marathon and am trying to get myself back into running shape. If it would ever stop raining I could do more of that!

Jack went swimming again this time kicking his legs and moving his little hands in the pool. I cannot believe how alert he has become. My parent’s finally put their house on the market a few weeks ago and we are thrilled because it is one step closer to being down the street!!

Craig is in the final stages of his physical therapy for his knees. He has severe tendonitis and it has caused him to put a pause on all sports related activities. He is seeing a specialist in Clear Lake that is supposed to be a Top Dawg in the business. So lets hope he can work some magic and get my boy back to running and playing on the basketball court.

I am still enjoying staying at home with Jack. It was definitely difficult when school started not to be going back but, I know being at home raising Jack is where I need to be and am so fortunate to have this time with him. So I won’t complain. Plus, a few co-workers/friends still let me come up and bug them. I definitely bought my midnight showing for New Moon today!! YAY!!! Our friends/neighbor’s Jamie and Johnny are welcoming little Maren Frances today and we are so excited to meet her. Will post pics soon!

Jack is growing so big–he is officially 13 weeks today. I cannot believe how fast time is flying by. He has been laughing and cooing constantly. I am still in love with his Magic Merlin Baby Sleepsuit.. and recommend it to anyone. He sleeps for naps and during bedtime. WONDERFUL! Plus it keeps him cozy and comfortable. I also have finally found a bottle that works well for us.. since I am breastfeeding I don’t have to use them a lot but, I do like to give him a bottle maybe once a day or every other.. Born Free are wonderful!! I have tried all kinds and these have been my favorite so far. Very little bubbles and spillage while Jack is drinking! Yippy Skippy for these great finds!

I have a cute story about my niece Macy–the other day she was in Jack’s bedroom and saw his cute Tooth Fairy pillow and said.. “OH MY EVIL TOOTH FAIRY!!” (she is 5 by the way) and I said “Macy why is the Tooth Fairy evil?” She said.. “Well once when I was a baby the Tooth Fairy came in and stole all of my pacifiers!” THAT IS GENIUS! Why can’t I think of anything clever like that.. not that the time has come for Jack to say good bye to his beloved Pacifier.. but, someday it will and I just hope I can be clever!

5. AUNTIE TRACI came to stay and meet Baby Jack! We had an absolute blast and ate tons of food! We also went to see The Proposal, which was a cute movie!
6.Finally-Last night Jack woke up around 12:30–I found myself walking back to our bed around 2:48..actually it was exactly 2:48.. he then woke up around 3:10 and for the rest of the night he didn’t go back down. Poor little guy was crying and uneasy. This time it wasn’t gas.. I have no clue what it was..maybe reflux.. he just couldn’t get comfortable and we felt so bad for him. THUS-we spent the day in our pj’s! Which I haven’t done since college.. after a long night out (STUDYING.. of course )
Now Lissa really encourages me by her blog–she is always honest and sharing whats going on with her.. so I have a few seconds and wanted to get a few things off of my chest.
So I tend to over analyze things just a little bit. And find myself festering over things so much I will actually dream about it. So something occurred this week that really perturbed me. So after a couple of days of thinking about it and wasting energy about it.. I feel like God actually made me take a step back and think.. does this really matter? in the grand scheme of things.. are you really going to let certain things like that control you? well after a few days of saying absolutely yes.. they are rude, they hurt my feelings.. I have come to a more level headed realization: AS Leslie, my counselor would say, “it is, what it is..” and we are beyond blessed by the people that love us unconditionally and are so lucky to have friends who are like family.. and to have family that are close to us. SO there ya go.. probably kindergarten stuff but for my peabody brain it actually took me a few days to let things go. So thanks for letting me vent.

So with the latest movie of the Twilight series coming out, New Moon, there has been a lot more press about the movie and it’s actors. Which for me as a partially obsessed fan this is wonderful. I cannot believe how fast this year has gone by and now we are awaiting the arrivall of the next movie. I personally think it looks great but, I am still wondering if they are going to film Breaking Dawn or not. If any of you are crazy enough to know that answer I would appreciate your craziness and think you are wonderful. 

Jack is hilarious right now and can seriously steal your heart by his cooing and smiling. I really think sometimes I have to catch my breath because it’s so sweet. He is looking around all the time and definitely knows when his daddy, mommy, or kirby sue is in the room. He will just stare at Kirby all day. Of course she cannot sit still that long but, does taste Jack every so often to make sure he is just right.

Craig’s Grandma Sophie is in town this week to meet and play with Jack. She is absolutely precious with him and it is so cool to see her sing and hold him. That is something I know he will cherish later on in life. However, right now he thinks she is pretty cool!

Traci is coming into town tomorrow to play with us and we couldn’t be more excited. This is the first time her and Jack will get to meet so I am sure will love meeting another “Auntie”.

We went to see The Fray this past weekend. Holy Cow they are fantastic. If you haven’t seen them live, you must!

DOG! I just realized I haven’t uploaded the most recent pics.. I will post some pics when Craig gets home. Jack is waking up. Almost had it!

All in all things have been going really well here at the D’Andrea household. For our anniversary Craig and I went to see The Hangover. Such a funny movie, I definitely think if you haven’t seen it and you don’t mind language.. then you are good to go! Craig was so awesome and took today off to come with Jack and me to see Dr. Elahee. I have to say HE WAS SOO TOUGH. Jack and I both cried when shots were being done. But, Craig was so strong for us both.
I am currently reading a book by Tracy Hogg, “The Baby Whisperer”..it has been enlightening especially since we have been making the move from our room to his crib.
This next week we are going to see The Fray..they were hear a couple of years ago and we had a blast so I am pumped. Here are some pics over the past month. See ya later!!

Earlier this week I had an eye opener though. I was absolutely 150% blown away by the a story the my wife sent me this week at work. I warn you that if you click on this link you better be prepared to shed tears. Yeah and if you’re at work, like I was….and if you’re a cryer, like I am…you definitely want to wait to get home for this one. http://www.tangle.com/view_video.php?viewkey=c975d005cd2c4d261f7f  Anyway, the video absolutely broke me! I realized that I sometimes might be going through the motions and miss something that Jack did at 3:00 AM just because I was a little tired. I try now to really enjoy our time more and really just soak it all in. It also made me realize how lucky we are and that we really do need to thank God every day for this gift! I hate that it takes me seeing things like this to snap me out of whatever funk I might be in though. When people say that if your God was a loving God then why do people suffer or why do good people die young, etc… Well my theory on the whole thing is that sometimes it takes people like these parents, that are strong and committed to loving God and others even amongst the circumstances that they are faced. When people see things like this (AKA – my complacent butt) it really makes you think about your situation and how selfish or ungrateful you are for just the air that you breathe. I know that sounds hokey, and I am not a person who likes hokey sayings or stories, but sometimes hokey makes a lot of sense. Now I’m just rambling…Anyway to sum up, I think the world of this boy! My parents always used to say that they could take pain or disappointment when it was meant towards them, but when we felt either emotion that it was 100 times worse than. Well I can already tell you that I see what they are talking about. When Jack has his long crying spells or has real bad gas I already feel bad for him. The hardest thing is know that you can’t do anything about it sometimes….I’m sure that’s the way it is going to be the rest of his life. Oh and I’ll add a recent picture of Jack and I soon, but right now it is past my bed time…Which is really sad because it’s not even 9:30. People sure aren’t lying when they say that things change!
